Island Batik Adventurous Applique

Remember cutting paper dolls as a child well this pattern uses those skills.
I have wanted to make a 2 color applique art quilt for some time and decided this month would be a great opportunity to try it out. I used a pattern from Pacific Rim Quilt Company. They have some awesome patterns. I loved these dragonflies. Island Batik fabric is perfect for these designs. Here is mine. I did raw edge applique using a fusible to hold it in place.
