No sewing for me this weekend. We did 130 - 2 quart jars of apple juice on Saturday. We set up a production line in the back yard. Shreded the apples, pressed them and then pasteurized it. That was only 2 1/2 trees and we still have 4 1/2 more trees out there. These old bones are crying for mercy.
My mom and two of my girls got their family quilt block done while I was busy cooking and doing all the misc stuff that needs to be done when there is a house full of people. It is called basket of chips and you can find it here http://www.quilterscache.com/B/BasketofChipsBlock.html.Look at this awesome rug my daughter made me. I let her take my weaving loom home and she has already been making projects like mad. This was her first project and she gave it to me, how cool is that.
I need help, for some reason I haven't been able to reply to anyone that post on my blog. The replies just keep coming back as undeliverable mail. Does anyone out there know how to fix the problem or what causes it? Some advice would be great. Thanks!!!!!
Wow....that is a lot of apple juice. Love the weaving! That is really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe blocks are fabulous too.
I get a lot of returned mail these days too. I see some people are just sending out e-mails with the subject line "comment". They must be having the same problem.
