Oklahoma Twister Pattern
Just leave a comment about what style of quilting you like most.
I know I prefer piecing. I never seem to get my applique to look very professional (my OCD shows through, if it isn't perfect it is awful) and I don't even want to go there. Paper piecing puts me in a foul mood (trust me, you don't want to be around) because I skimp to much on the fabric (really hate to waste good fabric) and end up having to take it out again and again. I love piecing, when the corners and points turn out nice it makes it worth all the effort. You know the feeling when every thing comes together.....yes it is a good feeling.
Tell your friends, the more people the merrier and I may give away more than one pattern. Barb over at Bejeweled Quilts is also giving away a copy of this pattern.....OOPS almost forgot to tell you when I am choosing a winner. How about next Saturday? I seem to get to busy during the week, I still have to go to work everyday and it is garden season again. Have a great weekend and a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY.
Ohh I much prefer piecing. I don't like applique, too much work for me. I've done a little paper piecing, but really love the look of square blocks. Boring maybe, but it is what I love
ReplyDeleteGorgeous design. And I'm delighted you've made it into a pattern for sale too!

Definitely piecing!
ReplyDeleteI really like the looks of applique, but as a beginner, I've only done piecing. So I guess my favorite at this point has to be piecing, just because it's all I have done. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love making blocks and want to learn applique, thanks
ReplyDeleteI don't do much applique! I'm a piecer! I love the process and watching the pattern come together! I love the twist in this HST pattern! Thanks and Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteI like piecing, and I like fusible applique with the blanket stitch around it. I really like the pattern! :)
ReplyDeleteI like piecing, too. I love your pattern! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteYou know I love love applique....whohoooo wonderful design
ReplyDeletePiecing for me too. This pattern makes a beautiful 2 color quilt.
ReplyDeleteI also like piecing the most...I do a little bit of English Paper Piecing while sitting and watching TV. I love your pattern

I prefer piecing with a touch of needle turn applique. It gives me the speed of machine piecing with the relaxation of hand stitching. Your pattern is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI love your OK Twister. I am mainly a traditional quilter.
ReplyDeleteLove your Oklahoma Twister. I started laughing when I read your reasons for liking piecing, you were describing me. Piecing is my favorite but I do like to applique a little but it takes forever as it has to be as close to perfect as possible.
ReplyDeleteI love this pattern. Like you, I like the piecing too. I guess it is like a puzzle.
ReplyDeleteI like piecing best - I don't like paper piecing at all! sometimes I do English paper piecing when I am traveling.
ReplyDeleteI like piecing the best!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great design. I love many techniques in quilting depending on the day! My favourites though are applique & paper piecing. Thanks for a chance at the give-away.

wonderful pattern...thanks!
ReplyDeleteI like piecing most, but do some hand applique when I am travelling and don't have my machine with me.
I love piecing. Great pattern! Thanks for the opportunity to win!
ReplyDeleteIt's a very fun pattern! I love to do applique quilts, but sometimes I just have to do some pieced quilts and prefer those that are a bit challenging.
ReplyDeleteI prefer piecing. I like hand applique, but my stitches are not consistent so I'm never happy with the results.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely pattern. Thank you for offering the giveaway.
Machine piecing is my fav (and a challenge is nice but not necessary). I also do applique and paper piecing
ReplyDeleteI like piecing best, especially on my hand cranks. Hand quilting is fun on smaller projects.
ReplyDeleteI love piecing and cutting fabric :) Thanks for sharing your pattern!
ReplyDeleteI like liberated piecing the blocks - then measuring for the sashing and borders. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the giveaway. I like to piece, but I love to applique. It just seems to put life into the block you are making.
ReplyDeleteI'm a piecer! That's why this pattern is so appealing. I see the motion, and from a distance you get that rounded corners/swirly look, with all straight line piecing.
ReplyDeleteI am a piecer by nature. Would much rather piece circles than applique them. Have done some pretty intricate piecing, and this pattern strikes a great tornado chord in me.
ReplyDeleteI'm a scrappy piecer - lovely pattern
