Here are a few pictures... the further away you get from it the better the quilting looks! I quilted this on my small sewing machine and it was fun, but I have to admit that there were times I wanted to cry, it was not easy for me. Now I'm thinking about doing another one on my sewing machine.... am I crazy??? I just love knowing I did the whole thing all by myself-- WOW!! who would have ever thought I could do this??? not me a few years ago... I've come a long way and have a long way to go!!
What do you think???

Jean quilt that I tied. The couple we gave it to LOVES it!!! That just makes me so happy!
I'm doing the Happy Dance over here!!! I took this test once and it said that I needed to celebrate accomplishments-- something I never do. I just move on to the next project. This time, I'm celebrating!! and I might have to celebrate a little more often!! :)
You did a great job Jennifer.
ReplyDeleteYou did a fantastic job. That is just about the only way I do my quilts is on my domestic machine. Got rid of the mid arm....I am so much more comfortable doing it on the machine.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your finish. It's a wonderful design.
ReplyDeleteWonderful projects! Great job!

Love it! Can't believe you are giving it away!
ReplyDeleteI love those appliqued flowers! I agree about doing the whole quilt, especially if it is a gift, I feel like it means more, but of course my quilting would never win any rewards! LOL
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome. You are doing great. You don't need a longarm to make a masterpiece. I'm the same way, I like doing it from start to finish. It just seems to mean more. I still stand back when I finish one and take a long look and say I can't believe I really did that.
