It is countdown time. I have a week to get all the camping stuff together and the food and the activities. I am as excited as a kid before Christmas. I am so looking forward to spending time with all the grown adult kids and the grand kids. I have tons of projects that I want to finish and grass to mow and weeds to pull and berrys to pick. OH MY!!
Well I did get a quilt done for a granddaughter that graduated. Jennifer made the top and back and I quilted and bound it. Done, Done, DONE!!! One less thing to have to do before we go. YEA!!!!!
I tried free motion flowers. They look like a kid did them but I was getting better by the end. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT, RIGHT!!!!
This is beautiful!! What pattern did you use? Love lone stars. I am going to make some pillow size lone star blocks soon;)
ReplyDeleteHope you get all your chores done before camping fun!
I love your "kid" flowers. They look so much more interesting than machine guided perfect ones.
ReplyDeleteWishing you loads of fun!! Pretty quilt and the quilting looks lovely to me!!

Jeanette your quilting looks fab. You did a great job!
ReplyDeleteGee, essential items for camping, hand crank sewing machine, table, sewing stuff. Have fun on your trip.
ReplyDeleteI read somewhere if you treated your quilting something like a piano lesson and practiced at least 30 minutes a day you couldn't help but get better. Of course I don't practice what I preach.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I have never seen anyone I have given a quilt to, say..'oops, you didn't do this right!' They are so blessed to receive, they love them!
