Flowers

I thought I would share more of the flowers from my garden. They have been especially pretty lately, I guess they are blooming for one last hurray.
Barb of Bejeweled Quilts and I are going to have to celebrate as soon as this fall into fall giveaway is over. She went over 100000 hits and I went over 10000 hits. She has been blogging longer but we thought it was quite the coincidence that we did it the same week. As she says we need to Partyyyyyyy!!!!!!!! So stay tuned.

The fall into fall giveaway ends on Friday. I will announce the winner on Saturday. Good Luck everyone and thanks so much for coming by and leaving comments. I read them all, just dont have time to answer them all but I love it. It has been so much fun to do.

WOW

I am truly amazed at the response to the Fall into Fall Giveaway. I would like to give a big thanks to everyone that has stopped by. There have been so many that there is no way that I can respond to every comment. I wish I could give everyone a prize. Thanks again and good luck.

I love flowers and the year is just about over. When I came back from Oklahoma the two rose bushes by my front door were filled with blooms, the snapdragons and pansy's were trying to out do them. So I thought I would share a picture of one of the clumps of pansy's.

FALL INTO FALL GIVEAWAY

I joined the Fall into Fall Quilt Bloggers Giveaway which will last from October 1 to 15. There are other blogs doing giveaways, just click on the scarecrow and it will take you to the list of blogs that are having giveaways.

For the beginning of Fall I am giving away 3 prizes. It is so hard to choose just one winner so I decided that I would have 3 winners. One of the prizes will be 8 fat quarters of your chose, the second will be a honey bun of your chose, and the third prize will be a panel of your chose.

Since I am out of town visiting grandkids in Oklahoma and I dont have my own computer or pictures that I can post. So....what I am going to have you do for your entry is look on the Inchworm store and choose 8 fabrics you would like a fat quarter or just chose a line, like if you want the western fabric I will send you eight fat quarters. Leave a comment listing what you want. Then for a second chance leave a comment of what honey bun you would like out of the store. Then for a third chance leave a comment on which panel you would like that is on the store site. For a fourth chance you can become a follower. I love to get new followers and love your comments.

Block Central

I am surfing the internet today and I was looking for block of the month quilts because I thought it would be fun to add a block of the month to the store site if I can figure out how to do it so that a free pattern could be down loaded and guess what I found..........? Block Central and it has this really cool block of the month not just for this year but for other years. Well to get back to what I found was 2010's block of the month Sentimental Journey which uses of all things Moda's Aster Manor line (which I have in the store) and I could have been making this each month since January. How fun would that have been? Now I am 8 months behind but it is a very pretty quilt and I may have to find the time to make it any way. If you want to see the quilt or the others you can click on the picture or this link http://www.blockcentral.com/bom2010-intro.shtml . Some very nice quilts and the instructions look fairly easy to understand. Have fun and enjoy. You will have to let me know what you like on their site. jj

Vancouver, Washington

I have been in Vancouver, WA on business this week and there is the most amazing park right across from the motel. I had to act like a tourist and take my camera and take pictures. The first day here the weather was beautiful but it has been raining off and on since then but I was able to get a few pictures during a break in the weather. The first picture is a home that has been turned into a theater, the second one is a picture of the base of the bell tower, it has water running down it and the salmon are swimming upstream (did you know that the Indians believed that the spirit of their ancestors were in the fish?). Then there is a statue of a pioneer woman and her children and then last but not least is the bell tower, all four side have water coming down the sides and fish swimming up stream. Very impressive. The flowers are gorgeous and the grounds of the park are beautiful.
