New Arrivals

I just got these wonderful flat folds in there are four fabrics from Studio E's Oxygen line and then there are three fabrics from Quilting Treasures. They all have three things in common,teal,green and brown. I even have a free pattern for the Oxygen line that I will send with the order. So check out the store. Lots of new stuff this month.

ADDITION TO THE MAY GIVEAWAY

I had a doctors appointment today out of town about 2 hours away. I am so tired that I can hardly stay awake. I did a little shopping when I got done because there isn't very much shopping here where I live. WalMart is about the only place, most of the nice places have gone out of business. Our local quilt store is even going out of business, they are retiring. So there won't even be that option.

Well anyway I need to get back to what I was blogging about. I am going to add this LoveU panel in blue to the May Giveaway. Should I draw a name for each item or should I just draw one grand winner. Let me know what you think and depending on popular opinion, I will decide what to do. Stay tuned there may be more.

Picture Quilt

This Quilt was made for Daughter #1's Sister-in-Law. It turned into quite the project (lots of work), but has a lot of meaning and Love sewn in. The hard part was getting a decent picture of the finished project... just did not seem like there was anyway to do it justice... sorry for the poor picture.




HAPPY MOTHER's DAY!! I know I have a great Mother, Grandmothers, Mother-in-Law, Aunt's, Sisters, Friends... who have touched my life for good.

More for the May Giveway

Have any of you had the chance to use Fons & Porter Mechanical Fabric Pencil? I have and I love it, if I only could keep track of where it is. You can buy different colored leads and this one will come with white. The strong, ceramic 0.9 mm white lead is great on dark fabric and washes out with laundering or with the eraser. Ten white refill pencil leads included. I am adding that to the pot for the Mothers Day Giveaway.See the two previous posts for the May giveaway, a book and a bundle of Batik FQ. Enchanted Garden

I just got 3 more bolts of Riley Blake fabric in from their Enchanted Garden line. They have such cute fabric. It is hard to resist and you can't beat the price.

More Items for the May Giveaway

I am thinking that everyone loves Batiks and if you don't you can give them away to someone else if you win. I am going to add a fat quarter bundle of the following BATIKS to the May giveaway. IS IT REALLY MAY?

It is cold and rainy outside after having sunshine for 2 days. It feels like April still. These flowers have been waiting to be planted and it is still to cold to plant them. I have some hanging baskets but I may not be able to put them out this year because of the wind.


My spring flowers are trying to bloom. Here are some pictures of the ones that have braved the cold wet weather.







The husband and a couple of the kids tore down the back deck that was about ready to fall down on Saturday. Sunday was nice but not near as nice as Saturday was. Here is a picture of the new baby in her blessing dress along with her brothers. They were not wanting to take any more pictures.
