Island Batik March Challenge 'Try a Technique'

This month Challenge from Island Batik for their ambassadors is to try a new technique. I have been wanting to do a Cathedral Window for some time but wasn't real interested in doing it in a whole quilt. Then I saw Missouri Star's quilt tutorial on your tube  it is a fun and quick way to make a cathedral window, you will just love how quick and easy it is.
I used a charm pack of Island Batik Sea Foam and a stack of white 5 inch squares.

The white squares are ironed in half and laid on top of the colored squares and then everything is sewed together.

After all the squares are sewn together then I laid squares on top of the white.
Before sewing I sandwiched the top, batting and backing.
Then the white is pulled over the top of the square and sewn down forming the cathedral window. That is all there is to it. click on the link above to watch the tutorial.
This is the back, it is quilt as you go, so when you are done sewing the windows you are done quilting.
