Giveaway Winner and Next Giveaway

Well this is a little late. My laptop computer died along with everything on it. The screen is black and no amount of resetting will resurect it. I do have a back up thumb drive but.....it has been awhile since I have backed it up. Oh woe is me what bad timing. Alas, all is not lost, we are not computer poor at this house. So the DH suggested I take one of the other computers and move it into the sewing room. It takes up a little more room than the laptop did but it will work in a pinch. Besides the files and my contacts this will work for now.

On to the giveaway, Leanne is the winner and I will send her prize out as soon as I receive an address.

I want to start the next weeks giveaway with two books both by Alex Anderson and Liz Aneloski, Super Simple Quilts #3 and #4. I did want to mention I may add to this during the week so stay tuned for the rest of the story.

Have a good week. I am sad, it is snowing and I have to drive to work in it tomorrow.

  1. Nice choice. I could use some easy to make quilt patterns. Haven't made many quilts and looking for something easy to work with.

  8. Computers are a PAIN. Oldest son just ordered a new laptop, and it arrived with 8 busted keys on it. He had to ship it back, now he's waiting for it to be fixed.

  13. Sorry to hear about your computer crash - that is always so much stress. I have been using 'timemachine' on my Mac - it gives me some assurance that all would not be lost - but it still would be a pain. The books look fun - pls put my name in the hat for the drawing!
