Give-o-give away

Give, sang the inch worm, give-o-give, give-o-give, give sang the inch worm as it hurried down the hill. There should be some pumpkins on that hill but alas, there are none, so

First on the list is the My Memories giveaway. The winner is Sunni @Love Affair with my Brother,She said... " I'm now following you. I'm number 333. Is that good luck?." Well guess what it was good luck and so you will win a free download of My Memories Software. I am excited for you and hope to see some great things that you create.

Next on my list is this book 3 Time the Charm by Me & My Sister Designs. It uses precut charm packs to make quick and easy little quilts for home decor and baby blankets. The seven quilt patterns were each sewn three times using different fabric collections; for a total of 21 quilts to help the quilter visualize her quilt in the charm pack she chooses. The piecing is fast and simple! Perfect for table toppers; wall hangings; and baby shower gifts! 7 projects for quilting: Amanda; Bertha; Charlotte; Dora; Emma; Fiona; and Greta.

I made Charlotte using the Ruby Charm Pack from Moda. I used two charm packs and white background to make a baby size quilt. I was thrilled it turned out so cute.

Next item of business, I loved it and I want to share. I am going to give away the book and your choice of charm pack from my store. So hop on over and see which one you like. Even if you don't win, the charm packs are a steal of a deal at $7. So all you have to do is leave a comment and let me know what charm pack tickles your fancy. If you are feeling chatty you can let me know what you like about precuts or if you even like them.

  3. I would love some Ruby too. Bliss has been a bit of an obsession and when Ruby came out...whoa momma!

  4. I would love some Ruby, also. The colors are fantastic. A table runner would be a great idea, too. Thanks!

  5. I fell in love with Ruby when I first saw it, and that's what I choose. What an awesome selection of colors! I'm a fairly new quilter, and I already know I lack that "vision" to know what a quilt will look like with colors other than those shown in the pattern. So this book would be an awesome win for me!!!

I recently used pre-cuts for the first time, and oh my, what an awesome discovery! They're a dream come true. I'll have some pre-cuts on my Christmas list. And it would be nice to win some from you too. So thank you very much for the opportunity to participate in your giveaway.

  7. Ruby! Since my favorite color is RED! I've only used charm packs a few times. I've not used any of the 'other' pre-cuts. Looks like a nice book. Thanks. I have a table runner on my blog using a charm pack.

  12. Oh I like the Ruby charm pack. I don't use precuts often because they are very pricey here but when I have used them I've found they can be fun and easy to use.

  13. Your quilt looks so cute! I really love the Meadow Friends charm pack. I usually use fat quarters for pre-cuts, but I can really see the appeal of charm packs. I love quilting, but cutting large pieces of fabric up is unwieldy and time-consuming, so having it already in smaller pieces is great. I also love the variety you get in a pre-cut pack.
