May Give Away

I have had a busy couple of weeks, it seems that I haven't been home much and I am tired. The weather is really nice today for a change. I have been playing with the grand kids today. My legs hurt, I feel like I have walked to China and back. Sitting at a desk all day doesn't do a body good.

My uncle died last Sunday and the funeral was Thursday. I live to far away and wasn't able to attend the funeral. He was the uncle that I knew the best and it is sad to lose another relative. Out of 10 kids, my mom and one of her sisters (who will be 100 in 2 years) are still around. Happy Mothers Day MOM and Aunt DD.

The May giveaway will start with a book. A Fine Line : Techniques and Inspirations for Creating the Quilting Design [Paperback] by Melody Crust, Heather Waldron Tewell.

Just leave a comment for one entry, blog about it for a second entry, become a follower for a third entry. In celebration of Mothers Day I am going to add more items to the pot so stay tuned for the best is yet to come.

PS: I added Batiks to this giveaway, look above.
PSS: I am also added a Fons and Porter mechanical marking pencil.

  8. Sorry for your loss. I know how that is since I lost both my grandma and grandpa within a matter of a week apart. I was not able to make the funeral as I was out of state due to our family being military. Can't wait to be with them someday again:)

  14. Hi Jeanette, It is a sad time for you. Today would have been the birthday of my husbands Aunt, she was his Mother's only sibling and would have been 88 years old. Her middle name was May!
We, like yourself ,have now only lovely memories, and perhaps one day we will see them again. Hugs to you, Sandy.
