GIVEAWAY DAY(WEEK)

It’s time for The Original, the big, the amazing… Giveaway Day! Mark your calendar for Monday, December 12th thru Friday December 16th!

Giveaway Day is a HUGE event that Sew Mama Sew coordinates where everyone with a shop or blog can give something away. This year the category's for the giveaway are:

Handmade for the Home (quilts, hot pads, pillows, etc.)
Handmade Bags
Handmade Baby + Kid Items
sewing supplies
Other Craft Supplies
Handmade Accessories (hats, scarves, belts, adult clothes, etc.)

I think I see a book in someones future, 256 Fat Quarter Quilt Blocks by Jeanne Stauffer and Sandra l. Hatch. And what is a book without fabric so I am throwing in a fat quarter bundle of Moda blenders from my store to go with that book.

Leave a comment and let me know what your favorite quilting technique is or what new technique you would like to try in the coming year. For a second chance you can follow and I would love to have you. Have a Happy Holiday and a Great New Year.

  14. Hi Jeanette!
    Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!
My all time favorite has to be needle turn applique! Then machine piecing. A tie at the bottom would be machine applique (because I can't get it perfect!) and quilting my quilt tops.
    Take care, Leslie

    ReplyDelete
  72. I want to learn much more about quilting. I've been studying about it for the past couple years with me being much more serious in the past year. I finally found a place to take a beginning Quilt Piecing class a few months ago which I did complete but it was not a 'complete' class as it did not teach alot of what I had hoped, including what I feel is the most important - binding and finishing your quilt. We did a table runner and other than learning to do three blocks, we learned nothing more so I feel that class fell way short of my expectations. I have alot more to learn BUT, this next year I want to learn paper piecing and go from there trying many more techniques which I will continue learning from the awesome bloggers that are doing such great work sharing their knowledge.
This book really looks great. I'd love to win this to help me with even more ideas.
Thank you. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season.
