I added a light blue border and a minky bubble for the back and it ended up being a twin size quilt or a nice size throw. I got a little carried away when I was cutting and I have a stack of half hexies left over that I am thinking of making another quilt. Actually I was wondering if the hexies are like rabbits that keep multiplying because there is a awful lot left over.
The weather cooperated and I was able to get a picture of my quilt on the front porch. It is January in Washington even if it looks like April out there and feels like spring. Just wondering when mother nature is going to blast us.
Well, we cant have a blog hop without a giveaway. Leave a comment and I will pick a winner for a stash builder pack, 2.8 yards of Island Batik fabric, five rolls of 5 inch by WOF. This is my last post for Island Batik as I am no longer an ambassador and this stash builder is the last of my fabric that they were so kind to give me to play with (well of course except for the scraps I have left), so I want to share one last time. I hope you have enjoyed the blog hop and have lots of ideas and plans for the new year.
Have a great day.
