Count Down

It is countdown time. I have a week to get all the camping stuff together and the food and the activities. I am as excited as a kid before Christmas. I am so looking forward to spending time with all the grown adult kids and the grand kids. I have tons of projects that I want to finish and grass to mow and weeds to pull and berrys to pick. OH MY!!
Well I did get a quilt done for a granddaughter that graduated. Jennifer made the top and back and I quilted and bound it. Done, Done, DONE!!! One less thing to have to do before we go. YEA!!!!!

I tried free motion flowers. They look like a kid did them but I was getting better by the end. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT, RIGHT!!!!

  6. I read somewhere if you treated your quilting something like a piano lesson and practiced at least 30 minutes a day you couldn't help but get better. Of course I don't practice what I preach.
