Veterans Day Giveaway!!!!!!!!!



I just love it when I have a day of. I love this country and I am grateful for all the veterans and their sacrifices for our freedoms. I just hope we continue to deserve their service.

I have spent my day cleaning and sewing. I don't normally get that chance. It seems like I am to tired to do both when I come home and sewing trumps cleaning any day, specificly quilting.

These blocks were done by the city quilt group and I got them to put together. Hawaiian Fabrics with a green Hawaiian floral on the back. I started to quilt it yesterday and my machine bit the dust. It just started to go slower and slower until it just wouldn't go any more. I had just purchased a used janome to put on my quilt frame and it came last week so my husband was fixing it so I could put it on there in place of the other. I guess it was in the nick of time.

I believe it is time for a giveaway. I haven't had one in a long time so here goes. I am giving away an Advent panel called ALPINE WONDERLAND PANEL RED by Sheri Berry Designs from Riley Blake. Along with the backing fabric ALPINE WONDERLAND TREES WHITE.

    I am thankful for my family,
    that my hubby has a good job (even if we live away from our families,
    that we bought new furniture.... and soo much more!

    I am thankful for a warm dry house! So many in the East do not have that right now. I wish I could help with that.

    Today I am especially thankful that my oldest son is willing to defend our country ... and I'm especially thankful that he should be back in our country by Christmas!

    I am thankful for all my loved ones, those here and those I got to spend time with while they were here. Thankful that we have a home to live in, food to feed my family, and I'm able to have a sewing machine to make things. I'm thankful my children are free from drugs, love the Lord, and are all healthy. I'm thankful for blogs like yours, that I love to follow...they keep me company late at night when I'm awake, and everyone else is asleep. Happy Thanksgive to you and yours!

    I'm thankful for our newest little one and the smiles she brings. I'm thankful for the help the bigger kids have been for me and the chance that they get in just a few more days to show our new house to their Granny and Grandad.

    I am thankful that I still have my mother around to visit with. And I am also thankful for the great nieces. I am thankful that some friends of mine who are having babies are doing well.
