Do you ever have a project that you want to really really finish no matter how tired you are? Well this is one of those projects. I am so tired I shouldn't be working on a project at all. I have had to rip out the zipper to many times to count. I wanted a tote that I could put my cutting mat and rulers in that also had an ironing pad on one side. So searched the web over and found nothing. I had to design it myself. Then I had to put it together and figure out the best order to sew it in. Here's the results, hope you like it as well as I do. Don't look to close, my machine didn't like all that bulk and the seams are not as nice as they should be. Let me know what you think, and you can be honest. Thanks.
It came out great, Jeanette. Beautiful. Are you going to have a pattern/tutorial for it? When you measured your mat, how much fabric did you add on around it?
ReplyDeleteI just love it and yes, I would love a pattern....what say you? I want to do one.

ReplyDeleteI think it is a great looking tote and would not mine making one myself. Did you have a pattern or is this your on creation. If so you should do a tutiral.

ReplyDeleteLooks like I am a bit late looking at this, posted nearly a month ago, But I too like it, looks great. Well done designing and making it yourself.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful to look at. I'mm attempting on tomorrow. Won't be as pretty because I'm so far from stores. But, a little applique will spruce up my beige.
