I stayed home from work on Friday because I picked something up(I think it may be the flu) on our travels last weekend. So I spent most of the weekend in bed; I did go to work today even though I wasn't feeling 100%). But I did manage to quilt this baby quilt that daughter #1 made for a gift. It has minkee on the back and surprising enough it didn't give me any trouble stretching when I quilted it.
It just looks wonderful. I heard that minkee was hard to work with...glad to hear it isn't.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I like using minkee as backing on quilts also, so soft.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling 100% today!
ReplyDeletefeel better....
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better. That is a nasty bug out there.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt looks fabulous. Did you quilt it on a longarm with the minkee or on your home machine? I would love to try minkee on some of my quilt backs.
I hope you are feeling better. I've been fortunate and haven't gotten the bug and hope I don't.
ReplyDeleteYour little quilt is very cute. I haven't quilted on minkee before. I have used it on the back of little quilts and sewn lightly on it. I'll have to try this out. Thanks for sharing!
BTW, congrats on the newest addition! She's beautiful!
I hope you are feeling better soon. Your quilt is just adorable!
