You know Spring is here with the erratic swings between cold, rain and sunshine. But it is official with daylight savings time. Yea, there will be more daylight at the end of the work day but it will sure be hard to get up at 5:30 am for the next week or so.
I have started another birthday quilt but it is still in the pieces stage. I do have one ready for the quilt machine but it was in use by Christine yesterday, she did two twin size quilts but I will let her blog about them.
I am going to add 2 yards (60X72) of design wall fabric to the giveaway. It has 2 inch grid lines and allows you to lay out your quilt blocks without pins. I forgot to mention that you have to leave a comment with a valid email so you can be contacted. You can leave a comment on each blog and that will increase your chances.
Gridlines are very helpful. I wish they would leave the time alone.
ReplyDeleteThe "time change" is pointless in today's society. I wish we could stay on one or the other. (once I am used to it, I prefer the DST version.)
ReplyDeleteI'm always happy to add an extra hour of sunshine (or daylight) to our day, but so sad to give it up in the fall! The grid fabric would be so helpful in my sewing room!

You are doing great with your birthday quilts!!! That first Sunday morning time change to get to church is so hard in the spring! Easy in the fall!?!
ReplyDeleteI was at a quilt retreat over the weekend - and due to the time change, I lost an hour of quilting!
ReplyDeleteWhat a useful giveaway! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWonderful giveaway! I am exhausted from the time change and jury duty today! Good luck with another granchild quilt! I know you have a lot to do!
ReplyDeleteThe gridded fabric makes laying blocks out so much easier.
ReplyDeleteThe gridded fabric looks handy! I have interfacing that has a printed grid and there are a few tasks that it is really handy for.
